The mission of Good Graces Paper Co. is just as multilayered as its name. First, the designs are crafted to speak to other Black women, giving them a place to express their anger and exhaustion while finding a way to maintain hope and healing. For those outside of the immediate audience, the designs seek to challenge– to spark curiosity and conversations that will lead people to learn more about the issues and histories of which they are uninformed. But even that isn’t the entire story:  “I have some designs that are just pretty!” laughs Melanie. 

Isadore Nut Co is named after Tasya’s grandfather, who was an early advocate for organic foods all the way back in the 1950s and believed that “food is medicine.” Tasya has remained loyal to her grandfather’s wisdom, ensuring that all of Isadore Nut Co's snack mixes are vegan, gluten-free and sourced sustainably.

Tina Freiborg of Tina Rachelle Aesthetics founded her business to empower and educate. “I joined the wellness industry to help others feel more confident—to look at skincare as a means of self love.”

Marie Schuhwerck hated to see the waste generated by the brief life of beautiful floral arrangements. They had so much beauty still to share; there had to be another option rather than moving them to the trash

Happy Food MN and Anna’s new venture of Breakthrough Adventures teach you to eat well with the confidence to cook at home with what you find locally. Anna’s courses contain recipes easily sourced from your neighborhood grocery store. Anna wants you to feel at home in your own kitchen.

Jessica Babiar, the founder of in-home cottage bakeshop Heartland Hooga, has many core memories centered on food. Her love of baked goods started with holidays featuring handmade treats from her family. This highlight helped nurture a love of baked goods and linked them as a love language.
