Foxcroft French by Zanielle Foxcroft is a creative celebration of how there is always something more to learn. Her
intricate line drawings of insects, dogs, birds and the handsome profile of the state of Minnesota make elegant prints, postcards, and greeting cards.
Zanielle started her business in 2015 after leaving her job in Marketing to stay home with her first son. She experimented with concrete, woven wall hangings, and fairground lights before discovering her niche in line drawing. That process of trying different mediums was essential for her development as an artist, “I learned so much about what I loved making and what didn’t feel right.”
Her favorite part of being a Minnesota Maker is the amazingly supportive community, “There is so much support that is shared among makers, even if you have never met each other. We share a creative need and therefore inspire each other without even realizing it.”
Zanielle makes everything herself that you find on her foxcroftfrench.com website or Smith and Trade in Stillwater and Curiosity NE Minneapolis in her Elk River home studio. You can meet Zanielle at one of her regular art workshops on Wednesdays Aegir Brew Company in Elk River. Registration is open now on her website to design your own Wall Hanging in March and a Spring Wreath in April. All workshop registrations include one free beer to get the creative juices flowing.
Zanielle’s biggest surprise thus far as a local maker was being asked to design can art for a local brewery. She’s looking forward to seeing her art in action when the yet-to-be-named brew is released later this spring.

I received one of your beautiful drawings for a Christmas gift this year.
On the back of the cardboard is 18 Zanielle.
The Dalana Horse.
I’d like to know more about the drawing.
Do I frame it? Or how do I display the print?
What a wonderful gift to have received! You can reach Zanielle of Foxcroft French at zanielleleigh@hotmail.com
I hope you find a beautiful place to enjoy your locally-made art!
Hi Jan, Thank you so much!
18 is my vendor number at Minne made and more in Elk River and my first name is Zanielle.
You can absolutely frame your print, it is a standard letter size and you can use a 8.5 x 11 sized frame.
I drew the Dala horse after visiting Mora up north and saw the 22 foot tall horse on the side of the road, I fell in love with it!
Thank you for reaching out!
