Meet the Minnesota Makers is delighted to announce a new membership program that deepens our commitment to Minnesota makers: The Makers Table helps small business owners across the state connect, grow, and build expertise and community.
Focusing on exposure, professional development, branding, storytelling, and community building, the Makers Table provides essential business development resources and cultivates a network of makers thriving together. Applications open in the first week of September.
The program includes:
- Inclusion in the “Shop Minnesota” Year Round Gift Guide
- Inclusion in and access to a private maker and service provider directory
- Exposure through Meet the Minnesota Makers:
- Prioritized referrals through select MTMM communications channels
- Prioritized referrals to local retailers
- First consideration for inclusion in MTMM earned media opportunities (past examples include Minnesota Live, Farm Aid popups, farmers market events, MN State Fair)
- Additional promotional opportunities through MTMM channels
- Professional Development including but not limited to:

- Monthly newsletter focusing on business development and marketing resources, and seasonal MN grant and market applications
- Online community-building platform for members including themed discussion channels and peer-to-peer networking and resource sharing
- Priority registration for MTMM led workshops
- Virtual “office hours” to meet with the MTMM team
- A one-hour strategy session with Michelle to develop your business marketing and communications (website, social media, or newsletter content)
- Quarterly virtual speaker and networking events featuring makers and service providers
- Brand Kit & Marketing Materials

- Makers Table badge and graphics for your website, social media, and email
- Shareable Makers Table content for seasonal events/holidays (Mother’s Day, winter holidays, etc.)
- Printable Makers Table branded flyer to use at in-person events
The annual cost of the Makers Table Program is $500 during this initial launch period. A monthly payment option is available at $45/month (price difference to cover increase in credit card fees). No payment is due until your application has been accepted and the program begins in the fall. The value of all program elements exceeds $1000.
